Maranoa Botanic Gardens 100th Birthday

The Maranoa Botanic Gardens 100th Birthday celebration takes place on Saturday, 19 September 2026, from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. It is a free community event marking 100 years since the gardens first opened in Balwyn, Victoria.

The Entomological Society of Victoria has been invited by the City of Boroondara to take part in this event, and will be setting up a table. Society members are invited to attend to take part in celebrations and to explore this amazing park.
